Excellent service at a fair price. John is a busy man so you will need a little patience.Repaired my ancient A/C remote control, works like new again.

Great service, John is such a great gentleman.Of course it's one man show as he's working alone.But he's doing above and beyond to deliver a prompt service.I wont hesitate to get his service again.He made my Mission LX10 Subwoofer to back in action as expected and on time.

Five Months Later we got our equipment back!This is a niche business and John knows it. We wanted our tape deck repaired, and, as we live out of Perth we took it there especially. We were told he would give us an answer within a couple of hours. 2 months later (and at least weekly calls) he finally got around to looking at it. Then he said he had to get parts from overseas, which took another month. Always excuses, and lies (in my opinion) because he would forget that he'd told me the opposite reason as to why the job wasn't finished. The tape deck is repaired but I would in no way recommend this business.

John Allen has helped me out many times over the years , being in the automotive accessory fitting field its not unusual to have faulty electronic products , my main reason for writing a review is that i looked him up to call and take another product to him and i had read a few of the negative reviews . Look no one is perfect and people can always be better at communication but you wont find a better tech in Perth and John will look at things no one else will , i run a business and what is apparent over particularly the last few years is peoples lack of patience , john may have the issue of taking on everything that comes and creating an almost unmanagable workload , then giving people unrealistic time frames ,i too used to fall into this trap , when it comes to timeframes dont be surprised if the repairs take months , if your in a hurry go look elseware , you will find very few still doing repairs like John , so be patient and stop whinging because he didnt get back to you when he said , there are a thousand other jobs he has to think about as well .

I have to thank John for his excellent work fixing the crossovers on my Wharfedales. I was going to move them on but now I think I'll keep them as they sound so good and look heaps better repainted black!John is not the one to go to if you're in a hurry, BUT your patience will be rewarded with high quality work. He's a hugely nice guy and a wealth of knowledge. Very happy and highly recommended. Thanks John!Update: John called me recently to let me know some higher quality caps that were previously unavailable had arrived, and would I bring my speakers back so he could fit them FOC. I was very happy to do so and he completed the job within 24 hours. Can't argue with great service like that! Thank you so much, John. You are a true gentleman!

If u want quick turn around John would not necessarily be able to do that. He is a one man repair technician but with massive experience, great skills at quickly working out the issue. His repair work if it can be fixed is resourceful and he will do a quality job. His workload is massive (just look at the quantity of equipment in his workshop lining up for repair. It is wall to roof electronics waiting it's turn to be fixed) and so the slow turn around.If you are patient you will get it back well fixed and often for older equipment that other repair techs would just say 'ditch it'.His prices are fair and few realise the time it takes to identify and resource a fix for a problem. He is also a situation where you get to talk with the repair guy...not some front counter secretary or similar where u never get to talk to the tech.

John is an absolute wealth of knowledge and experience with electronics.He has the answer for everything to do with Audio.Very nice man and extremely helpful.If you need audio equipment serviced or repaired go to JW ELECTRONICS in Osbourne Park. 5/5 stars.

A rare place where valuable old audio gear can be resurrected to new life rather than become landfill.It's a one man band and John's specialist expertise is in high demand—so a little patience is necessary.

If you need audio equipment fixed by someone who knows what they're doing, and does it well at reasonable prices, this is the business to use.

This business is run by crooks. My sub was faulty, but B&W agreed to replace the back plate. It took MONTHS! When I got my sub back it was absolutely thrashed. Scratches all over, the front grill was so loose, it looks like it’s a completely different unit!! When I brought my sub in, it was absolutely pristine. He told me that aesthetics aren’t covered in returning. Stay away from this place!
